Dragons Den Pitch

We are a very young start up. Started just around 4 years ago and we’re based in Preston.
We’re a tech company that has innovation in our DNA… our vision is to achieve innovation for everyone, which means, we want to launch products, of great quality and we want to make them accessible so everyone can enjoy using them and everyone can enjoy the benefits.
So we need to ask if there is a product/s available in this ever growing & exciting world of digital marketing, that can provide the opportunity to distribute and receive information, produced in a format that can be constantly updated, would take advantage in using the latest in high impact visual functionality, have the ability to provide the reader with interactive engagement and yet taking all that into consideration, would not cost a fortune in it’s production.
Well I hope that after my short presentation you will agree the answer is most definitely yes.
With a shrinking marketing budget available to the NHS. it is paramount that any product used to distribute and promote vital public and private sector notices, needs to be:
1) Easy to access
2) Cheap to distribute
3) Has an affordable design and production cost
4) Have a healthy, if not limitless shelf life.
5) be available in vast quantities.
Xplore4 are here today to hopefully assist in finding ways to save the vast amount of precious NHS funding that goes into the production of the tens of thousands, if not millions of leaflets and booklets that are printed every year.
The NHS have been given a target of making savings of 5 billion pounds across the organisation, my first question would be what is the annual print costs for printing NHS publications, leaflets and pamphlets over a 12 month distribution period? My second question is, have the NHS looked at ways and means in reducing these print costs?
Xplore4 are not saying we can eliminate that cost, what we can say is we could assist in eliminating a large chunk of it!
Conventional marketing products including print and PDF’S become useless if circulated widely, and then weeks later are recalled due to changes in content/legislation. This problem arises far to often eating into already stretched marketing budgets.
However it is important to note the NHS like all public sector services have a legal obligation to make available at whatever cost, notices of public interest however many times it needs to be changed. So if the content is deemed incorrect, the solution is, organise a re-print!.
What is required in aid to help ironed out these major problems is a product that could, assist not replace, printed media, and as an addition can help the way the NHS communicate with the general public. Xplore4 could provide the NHS SBS with a more positive means to circulate information …
1) Fast direct, precise.
2) Provide options for free distribution via digital platforms/social media/youtube/podcasts e.t.c.
3) Have an infinity shelf life. .
4) Vastly improve reader engagement with the product
5) Interactive with the reader using insights.
6) Make use of trackable ‘big data’
7) Be visually appealing to the reader. Using the latest in digital technology.
8) In comparison to printed media, be extremely affordable in design and production.
9) Capped distribution costs whether estimated distribution would be 1000 or 1000,000,000

with more pressure than ever for the NHS Trusts to generate savings, it is vital to implement processes that involve standardisation!
At Xplore 4 we can standardise (if so required) every piece of literature produced for the NHS for circulation into a digital platform that can be delivered in a professional corporate format, that would be easy to access, visually stimulating using digital motion graphics video and text, highly information, up dated constantly and have an infinite shelf life in layman’s terms would never require a “sell by date”
